How to find the Wandering Merchant in Dave the Diver

There are all sorts of special characters in Dave the Diver, but a new one was added with the October 2023 update to the game: the Wandering Merchant. This unique NPC will give you access to some rare goodies that you'd struggle to find on your own. You'll need to make him a tasty dish using tuna first, though!

Where is the Wandering Merchant in Dave the Diver?

If you're wondering how to find the Wandering Merchant in Dave the Diver, don't fret; the merchant will actually come to you! He'll show up at Bancho Sushi and ask for a special dish in order to trade with you. Once you make and serve him the special meal (Hot Pepper Tuna), he'll occasionally show back up at Bancho Sushi and offer unique items to sell to you.

Note that if you are in the middle of an event or having another special character visit, the appearance of the Wandering Merchant may be delayed. He should show up once your event is over, and then you can begin preparing the dish.

How to make the Hot Pepper Tuna dish in Dave the Diver

To get access to the Wandering Merchant's goods, you'll need to make him the Hot Pepper Tuna meal. It will take you a few days to get everything together for this dish, so be sure to carve out enough time for it. The ingredients are:

• Sea Grapes (2) - Catch while diving
• Sesame Seed - Find in cooking pots while diving
• Habanero Peppers (2) - Plant at your farm
• Bluefin Tuna Chutoros (2) - Harvest from Bluefin after capturing
