What is the release date for Dead Island 2?

Who is the protagonist in Dead Island 2?

Dead Island 2 will feature six playable characters, allowing players to choose who they want to play as. The official reveal trailer showcased Jacob, but players will be able to play online three-player co-op. Each character is infected with the zombie virus but is immune to the effects and able to channel the mutation into various powers.
