Deliver Us The Moon – Story Summary (Spoilers)

Deliver Us The Moon is an adventure game with an atmosphere of a Hollywood Sci-Fi thriller. Many twists and turns make this game very interesting, even without classic space-horror tropes. In Deliver Us The Moon, Earth is facing a severe energy crisis, and getting Helium-3 from the Moon can save the planet.

You're playing as Rolf, an astronaut trying to fix things and save his colleague Sarah who was left behind several years ago during evacuation. The ending of Deliver Us The Moon finds Rolf in a very tough situation as he discovers that Moon colonies have decided to abandon the reroute resources into creating Ark-like spaceships with a mission to find a new planet with living conditions. Via audio stories and holograms, you find out that Sarah tried to prevent this from happening years ago. During her quest, she meets Isaac, who also wants to save Helium-3. Unfortunately, Isaac betrays Sarah as he wants to use resources to power the third Ark. He even stabs her, but she manages to secure Helium-3.

You use the Helium-3 to activate the machine that can save Earth, but you get seriously injured while trying to complete the process. Seriously injured, you complete the process allowing the energy that could save the Earth. With your last strength, you notice another hologram explaining whether Sarah survived in Deliver Us The Moon.

Isaac felt guilty about what he's done, so he carried Sarah to the cryo chamber. There you find Sarah in cryo-sleep in stable condition. Unfortunately, this is the end of the road for Rolf as he dies by her side. In the end, we see Claire, Isaacs's daughter, entering the cryo room and reporting to the Ground control that she found them (Claire and Rolf). This means that their effort for success and that the Earth was saved thanks to their actions. So what happened afterward? You can find out by playing Deliver Us Mars.
