All new Origin Traits in Destiny 2 Season of the Wish

These will do nicely.

With Season of the Wish in Destiny 2, players have five new Origin Traits to play with. These are available on a variety of new and reprised weapons.

Recommended Videos

Overall, these new Origin Traits seem to reward aggressive play as trading blows with opponents provides a variety of buffs. Paired with weapons that like to get into the thick of it (shotguns, SMGs), players can quickly turn an overwhelming force into fodder.

Season of the Wish has some extra spicy Origin Traits

Advanced Reflexes

After taking damage from an enemy, guarding or aiming down sight with this weapon will give buffs to mobility, handling, and charge rate for a short duration. This Origin Trait is available on the following reprised Dreaming City weapons:

  • Abide the Return - Legendary Solar sword
  • Tigerspite - Legendary auto rifle
  • Waking Vigil - Legendary Arc hand cannon
  • Vouchsafe - Legendary Void scout rifle
  • Retold Tale - Legendary Void shotgun
  • Twilight Oath - Legendary Solar sniper rifle
  • Sleepless - Legendary Arc rocket launcher

Dragon's Vengeance

When an ally dies or you take critical damage, this weapon refills its magazine and gains buffs to range, charge rate, and handling. This Origin Trait is available on the following Season of the Wish weapons:

  • Supercluster - Legendary Strand shotgun
  • Doomed Petitioner - Legendary Void linear fusion rifle
  • Scatter Signal - Legendary Strand fusion rifle
  • Lethophobia - Legendary Void combat bow
  • Appetence - Legendary Stasis trace rifle
  • Scalar Potential - Legendary Arc pulse rifle

Field-Tested

Dealing damage or defeating foes with this weapon gradually increases range, stability, handling, and reload speed. It is available as a world drop through Legendary Engrams and faction rank-up rewards.

  • Parabellum - Legendary Solar SMG

Nano-Munitions

Staying near allies slowly builds a partial emergency ammo refill that is usable the next time the weapon runs out of ammo. The available emergency ammo is dependent on the time spent near allies. It is available on reprised Season of the Undying weapons:

  • Subjunctive - Legendary Arc SMG
  • Imperative - Legendary scout rifle
  • Adhortative - Legendary Solar pulse rifle
  • Optative - Legendary Void hand cannon

Nanotech Tracer Rockets

Landing multiple hits turns your next shot into a homing micro-rocket. Despite being listed as a "new" Origin Trait for Season 23 in the API, there aren't any Season of the Wish weapons associated with it. I'll make sure to update this entry if and when that changes.
