Destiny 2 – All new weapon perks in The Witch Queen

A variety of ways to punish foes.

Destiny 2 brought a huge influx of new weapon perks and traits with the release of The Witch Queen. A lot of these were relegated to Glaives and the new exotics. Combined with weapon crafting, there are a host of new options available to Guardians.

Destiny 2 Weapon Perks

Origin Traits

  • Stunning Recovery: Stunning a Champion partially refills your magazine, triggers health regeneration, and improves recovery for a short duration
  • Vanguard's Vindication: Final blows with this weapon grant a small amount of health
  • Invader Tracker: Damaging the Invader with this weapon marks them for allies
  • Hakke Breach Armaments: This weapon deals increased damage against vehicles, turrets, barricades, and Stasis crystals
  • Veist Stinger: Damaging an enemy with this weapon has a small chance to reload the magazine and increase movement speed while aiming down sights. Bows receive faster draw speed and swords receive faster charge rate while this perk is active.
  • Psychohack: Sustained damage from this weapon lowers the target's damage output for a short duration
  • Souldrinker: Gain health based on the number of hits before reloading
  • Land Tank: Final blows with this weapon grant increased Resilience and additional damage resistance from combatants
  • Suros Synergy: Reloading grants this weapon bonus handling and reduces incoming flinch for a short time
  • One Quiet Moment: Grants increased reload speed when out of combat
  • Skulking Wolf: During the Hunt, final blows with this weapon grant enhanced radar and remove you from opposing radar
  • Alacrity: Gain increased reload, stability, aim assist, and range when you are the last living member of your fireteam or running solo

Glaive Traits

  • Ballistic Tuning: Greatly increases range, Decreases shield duration
  • Low-Impedance Windings: Increases shield duration, Slightly increases reload speed, Decreases range
  • Tempered Truss Rod: Greatly increases handling speed, Slightly decreases reload speed, Slightly decreases range
  • Supercooled Accelerator: Increases range, Slightly decreases reload speed, Slightly decreases handling speed
  • Auxiliary Reserves: Greatly increases shield duration, Decreases reload speed
  • Lightweight Emitter: Increases reload speed, Slightly increases handling speed, Decreases shield duration
  • Tilting at Windmills: Blocking damage with your shield increases movement speed until you lower your shield
  • Impulse Amplifier: Massively increases projectile velocity, Increases reload speed
  • Unstoppable Force: Blocking damage with your shield increases projectile damage for a short time

Exotic Traits

  • Remote Shield: When weapon energy is full, consume it before firing to make your next shot deploy a protective shield on impact
  • Edge of Action/Concurrence/Intent: Hybrid melee/ranged polearm with a frontal shield. Generates energy on dealing ranged damage
  • Lightning Seeker: When weapon energy is full, consume it before firing to make your next shot track targets across the ground and unleash chain lightning on impact
  • Restorative Turret: When weapon energy is full, consume it before firing to make your next shot deploy a healing turret on impact
  • Screaming Swarm: Fires a stream of sentient, toxic projectiles that track the targeted enemy
  • Toxic Overlord: Landing a final blow or multiple precision hits triggers a burst that poisons nearby targets
  • Trinary Vision: One-shot handheld Grenade Launcher. Projectiles release a fan of three energy waves on contact with the ground
  • Void Leech: This weapon leeches Void debuffs when damagin targets that are suppressed, weakened, or volatile. Once charged, swapping firing modes applies the same Void debuffs
  • Umbral Sustenance: This weapon's magazine is automatically reloaded when you gain Devour, a Void overshield, or become invisible
  • Worm's Hunger: This weapon fires Hive worms which explode on impact. The size and damage of the explosion scales with the number of denemies you've defeated just before firing this weapon
  • Worm Byproduct: Taking damage from your own worm projectile detonation empowers your weapons for a short time
  • Wrath of the Colossus: Heavy slug launcher that charges, then fires full auto while the trigger is held.
  • Omega Strike: Land hits with the slug launcher to load missles and use the alternate fire to launch several missiles in a volley
