The next expansion to Destiny 2 is almost upon us. Are you ready for Destiny 2: Beyond Light? This is the fifth expansion to Bungie's first-person shooting game, the devs behind the first three Halo games. Get ready to travel to the icy moon of Jupiter called Europa to confront the darkness there; however, this darkness might be more important to you than you might think as it will give you a new power called Stasis. Bungie has described this expansion as the dawn of a new ara for the Destiny franchises.

Destiny 2: Beyond Light release date

The release date for Destiny 2: Beyond Light is November 10, 2020. This is the delayed release date, as it was originally meant to launch on September 22, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, Bungie shifted to remote work to keep their staff safe.

Destiny 2: Beyond Light release time

Bungie has not announced an official release time for Destiny 2: Beyond Light. However, we can speculate based on the two expansions Shadowkeep and New Light; both were released at 1 pm EDT on October 1. Based on this, we can hypothesize that Destiny 2: Beyond Light may be released at 1. pm EDT on November 10.

If any more information gets announced, we'll update this article.

Destiny 2: Beyond Light game pass

Destiny 2: Beyond Light will be available to download on Xbox/PC Game Pass at launch on November 10. However, the Game Pass version of Destiny 2: Beyond Light does not include the Season Pass, which grants players access to the Season 12 content. This means that Game Pass users will have to purchase the Season Pass separately to be able to play the added content that comes with Season 12.

Destiny 2: Beyond Light raid release date

The release date for the new raid Deep Stone Crypt is November 21 in Destiny 2: Beyond Light - this new raid will launch at 10 am PT / 1 pm ET / 6 pm BST. For the first 24 hours of launch, the raid will use the contest mode modifier, though, after it, it will be set at 1250 Power.

If you complete the raid in less than 24 hours, you will earn an exclusive banner, and clearing it before December 1 will allow you to receive an exclusive jacket from the Bungie store. Though even by completing the raid at any point, you'll unlock a new emblem.
