How to complete the Caretaker raid challenge in Destiny 2 – Base Information guide

A curious collection.

Destiny 2 is no stranger to challenging content. Each raid has progressively thrown more challenging obstacles at fireteams, and Vow of the Disciple is no different. In an effort to make things even more "interesting," Bungie has introduced raid challenges. The second week brings about the Caretaker challenge.

The Caretaker challenge is focused on the second encounter in Vow fo the Disciple, the Caretaker. To complete the challenge, the players in charge of picking up symbols and shooting the obelisk can only pick up one symbol at a time.

The challenge is fairly straightforward, and since the Caretaker encounter became far more manageable once Contest Mode was turned off, this still remains one of the raid's easier encounters. The biggest change is that instead of carrying three symbols, runners are restricted to one. If a group wanted to speed things up, though, they could take someone off "add clear" and put them on symbol duty. So long as the fireteam is keeping the Caretaker stunned and everyone remains patient, this week's challenge is in the bag.
