Leave it to Bungie to introduce another currency in Destiny 2. Polymorphic Shellcode isn't just another currency. It's another weekly chore wrapped up in yet another chore designed to keep players busy. That's why we're fans of cutting through the nonsense and getting players like you back on track to more meaningful activities like finding all of the Neomuna Regional Chests.
What are Polymorphic Shellcodes in Destiny 2 Lightfall?
Polymorphic Shellcode is awarded for completing the Weekly Bounty from Nimbus in Neomuna. As with many things in Destiny 2, it's not as simple as walking up to the Cloudstrider and asking for the Weekly Bounty. Guardians must first complete the Lightfall campaign. Once that is completed, they can acquire the Stargazer questline from the Archivist in the Hall of Heroes. Once completing the following Bluejay portion of the questline, Guardians will be able to obtain and complete the Weekly Bounty for a Polymorphic Shellcode. This extremely rare item is used in the Partition: Hard Reset quest for additional rewards.
