How to get the Action Figure Showdown emote in Destiny 2

Pew pew pew!

Emotes are a way for Guardians to express themselves through jovial actions and displays of light. These immortal beings can use their supernatural powers to conjure chairs, fireworks displays, and... Action figures? Why yes, as of The Dawning 2022, Guardians can sit down and battle it out with tiny versions of the Traveler and a Pyramid Ship. Here's how to add a little joy to your Guardian's life.

This emote that shows off the Guardian battling with Light constructs of the Traveler and a Pyramid Ship can only be acquired by purchasing the upgraded Event Card for the Dawning. It is one of several rewards available, including a shader, a sparrow, Ghost shell, and more. It requires five tickets to obtain, with tickets being acquired by completing the various Triumphs contained within the Star Baker Seal.

The emote itself illuminates the battle between the Light and the Darkness, albeit in a comical way. The Guardian slams the two Light-forged objects into one another, much like any youth would with a pair of action figures. But, since Bungie has a penchant for teasing upcoming events (Destiny was teased in Halo 3: ODST), there are some who wonder if this is a glimpse into events that might take place during Lightfall or beyond. Just what would happen if a Pyramid Ship were close enough to slam into the Traveler?
