Once you have acquired the Verglas Curve bow, speak to Banshee-44 in The Tower. He will grant you the Nock, Draw, Loose, Quiet quest, which rewards you with the Verglas Curve Catalyst upon completion. The first step of this quest requires you to rapidly defeat 20 targets, as well as defeat 40 opponents with Stasis final blows. The best way to finish this objective is by equipping the Stasis subclass and wielding an Auto Rifle like Krait.

The second step of the Catalyst quest asks you to defeat 450 targets using the Verglas Curve bow and retrieve 200 pieces of Calibration data. In order to collect Calibration data, you must complete Vanguard Ops activities, Gambit matches, Crucible matches, or seasonal playlist activities. Higher-tier Nightfall completions, Crucible and Gambit wins, and Guardian kills grant bonus progress toward this goal. After you finish this objective, you must return to Banshee-44 to claim the Verglas Curve Catalyst. To complete the Catalyst after slotting it into the bow, you must defeat 700 enemies with Verglas Curve.

Once you have obtained the Verglas Curve Catalyst, you receive a unique perk that makes the weapon more powerful. This weapon typically fires Stasis arrows that freeze targets, but with the Catalyst, you get a boost to draw speed after freezing an opponent. Since Verglas Curve already possesses a fast draw time, this draw speed buff turns the bow into a killing machine.
