Since the glorious days of Sacred, one of the best role-playing games, I wanted to have a horse or car in every open-world game. Walking around is so tedious in Diablo 4 that I couldn't wait to hop on the fastest way of travel in Sanctuary besides teleporting. So how to get a horse in Diablo 4 and avoid those long strolls through the demon-infested land?
How to complete the Diablo IV horse quest
To obtain a horse in Diablo 4, you must complete the Donan's Favor quest. While you'll see plenty of stables, the horse will remain locked for a long time. As it happens, you can't use a horse until Act 4, as Donan's Favor quest can't be completed until then. Here's how to complete the Diablo 4 horse quest eventually and enjoy some fast traveling:

- Complete the Act 3 campaign quest.
- Speak to Donan in the Church of Light in Kyovashad.
- Go to the Stables and speak to the stable master.
- Now that you have your horse, you can complete the Donan's Favor quest.
It's easy to miss the horse quest if you focus only on Campaign quests. Therefore, when you finish the Act 3 quest, look at the Priority quests tab you can find when you open the map. Priority quests are colored white on the Diablo 4 map.
Now that you got a horse in Diablo 4, you can change its appearance. Some of those cosmetics are available from the start depending on which Diablo 4 version you have. You can also buy cosmetics from the Diablo IV store (for real money) and in stables.
