How to complete Gaston’s Wanderer of Dunes quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley

With the purchase of the Expansion Pass, players can start doing Gaston's quests in the Eternity Isle. Wanderer of Dunes is one of his quests and here's how you can do it quickly in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Disney Dreamlight Valley- Wanderer of Dunes quest guide

You will first meet Gaston while doing the Directive Danger quest. After speaking to him, you will get the Wanderer of Dunes quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley. You'll be tasked to search the following for Gaston:

Green Spiky-Leafed Plant

Take the bridge between the Glittering Dunes and Wild Tangle. Cross the bridge and turn left to enter the Glittering Dunes. Just after entering, look around a bit, and you will find the spiky-leafed plant. Collect three of these Green-Spiky-Leafed plants.

Flexing Spider-Like Thing

Remember the sand lake (located at the northern border of The Plains) where you found Gaston for the first time, that's where you will find a Spider-Like Thing. Equip your fishing rod, and search in the ripples to find a Scorpion.

Sweet Brown Raisin Things

You will find the raisins from the palm trees in the Glittering Dunes. Interact and harvest the Brown Raisin.

After gathering all the items, deliver them to Gaston. After this, he will take you to his camp. There, you need to find clues to the vault key's whereabouts:

• A Paint Palette on top of the wooden crates (located on the left side of the tent)
• A chest kept on the right side of the tent contains Homemade Glue
• Coconut Husks is the final clue found behind the wooden barrels near the fire.

After collecting all of the items, deliver them to Gaston. Now you need to unlock The Wastes in the Glittering Dunes. You need 4000 Mist to unlock this area and I did not have enough of those. To gather more Mists, clear Splinters of Fate, and remove those floating sand spirals by using the Royal Hourglass. Other than this, complete Mist duties can be found by accessing the Dreamlight tab from the Menu option in-game. Check the images below to see the types of Dreamlight Duties you can perform to earn more Mists.

Once you have the required amount of Mists, unlock The Wastes region, and meet Gaston at his shipwreck.

Where to find the vault key in Disney Dreamlight Valley

After talking to him, you'll be tasked with finding the vault key in The Wastes. Upon entering this region, you will immediately spot Gaston with the shipwreck. A quicksand is right beside him, use your fishing rod, and find the LeFou. Check the image above to see the location and the object.

Where to find the Desert Scarab Piece in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Give LeFou to Gaston, and now look for the Desert Scarab Piece in The Plains using the Hourglass. I had to look around a lot and found it in the opposite direction of the dream well in The Plains region. Check the image above to see the location and the piece.

How to complete the Wanderer of Dunes quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley

After finding the Desert Scarab Piece, find a Hologram Station nearby, and speak to Jafar. The final thing, you need to do is check on Gaston to conclude the Wanderer of Dunes quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
