You'll notice the Multiplayer option now on the main menu of the game, but if you haven't yet already, you're going to need to place down a Valley Visits Station, in order to unlock this mode. To get it, you'll need to start the quest 'Valley Visits!' by speaking to Vanellope. This quest became available to me once I reached Eternity Isle, but you may have the prompt in a different way.

Vanellope will give you the Valley Visits Station that she found while rummaging in Scrooge's Storeroom. All you have to do is place it down somewhere outside. I decided to place it back in the main Valley beside my house. You'll find it in your Furniture menu. Once it's placed, you'll need to choose to allow Multiplayer functionality, as prompted on your screen, to start putting it to use!

Whenever you want to invite a friend into your Valley, you can do so by approaching the Valley Visits Station and saying you want to open up your Valley. The machine will generate a random code for you to give to your friends. While your Valley is open, you will not be able to progress any quests or story missions. Multiplayer will be solely about exploring your Valley with your friends and interacting with whatever you already have unlocked.

If at any time you want to close your Valley and end the Multiplayer session, approach the Valley Visits Station again and choose the 'close the connection' option. This will end the session and will make any friends return to their own Valleys.

To join other player's Valleys, you will need to head to the main menu of Dreamlight Valley and select the Multiplayer option. This will give you a textbox to enter in their randomly generated code. Once you type in the correct code, you will join their Valley.

Multiplayer opens up new possibilities in Disney Dreamlight Valley, allowing you to show off your nicely decorated Valley to your friends and hang out with your favorite Disney characters together. Ensure you place down your Valley Visits Station to get started!
