If you're looking to add some spice to DBZ: Kakarot, then you've come to the right place! We have a list of the best mods you can find for the game, and will be continuing to update this list as more are developed and available for your PC! Unfortunately, if you're on PS4 or Xbox you won't get to participate in on the fun.
It's very early in the life of the game, but we expect a lot of fun mods to be developed in the near future. Once you've finished the story and done all of the side quests, you can use mods to extend the life of the game or even use them to correct some of the annoyances that might make you stop playing it!
Mods are in the very early stages of production at the moment, so be careful when installing them! I would only consider adding them if you've seen others install them without issue.
How-to Install Mods in DBZ: Kakarot
Go to the folder where you installed the game and you will either be placing the downloaded file in the "/Content/Paks/~mods" folder or the "/Content/Paks/" folder. It should tell you what to do on the mod listing (be sure to follow that). There's no mod compiler available at the moment, but hopefully things will become simpler and more reliable as mods are developed.
Best DBZ: Kakarot Mods
There are very few mods at the moment, so the pickings are slim! We'll be adding and removing mods from this list as more are made available.
This is a pretty simple mod, but it takes care of one of the issue some people have with the game and that is it being locked at 60 fps. You can use this mod to allow you to take advantage of that beefy graphics card and 144hz monitor that you undoubtedly have. Download the mod right here.
Battle Hud Cleaner
If you feel like there's too much going on with the HUD in a battle, this mod gives you the ability to remove certain values and text from the screen. How much you want to remove is up to you! Place the paks in your ~mods folder that you'd like removed from the game, and you will no longer see them when in battle. You can download the mod right here.
Tired of playing as Goku already? Well, it's time to embrace your inner troublemaker by playing as a Goose! If you weren't aware, Geese are evil and this has finally become well-known by the popularity of the Untitled Goose Game. This mod simply replaces your Goku model with a Goose. So, go ahead and punch/honk at deer in the game! We can only hope at some point we get a Super Saiyan Goose model to play with in the future. You can download the Goose Mod right here.
CJ From San Andreas Mod
As mentioned, there's very few mods to choose from right now, so most of them end up being model changes. This one allows you to play as CJ from GTA: San Andreas. Why would you want to do this? Well, I'll answer that with another question... Why not?! You can download the mod right here.
That's all of the mods we've got for now, but we'll be updating this post frequently with a whole lot more so check back soon!
