How to Get Off Nimbus – DBZ: Kakarot

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

The Flying Nimbus is one of those classic visuals from Dragon Ball Z, and so of course you get to ride it in the new Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot game! The only problem is that it might be a bit difficult to get off of the thing when you are ready to fight or just run around on foot! We'll clear that up for you with this quick guide on how to get off the darn thing.

To get off of the Nimbus, you just need to press down on the directional pad on your controller. That's the plus sign looking thing that you rarely need to use for movement, but is usually now bound with small features that allow you to do things that are pretty infrequently used! This works on PlayStation, Xbox, and if you're using a controller on the PC. If you are using the keyboard, you just need to press the down arrow to dismount the flying cloud. If you have a keyboard that doesn't have a down arrow, you'll need to check your settings and bind it appropriately!

Once you're running around on the ground, you can access different vehicles by pressing left and right on the d-pad or keyboard. Once you've selected the one you want to travel with, just hit up on the d-pad or the up arrow on your keyboard.

There are areas in the game where you can't dismount off of the Flying Nimbus. So, you might be on some quest or in a particular zone that doesn't allow you to dismount. If that's the case, you'll just have to fly around until you get to the next spot.
