How Do You Get Gears in DragonSword Awakening?

Most gear is crafted through the Blacksmith rather than obtained directly from enemies. Crafting materials can be obtained either through clearing Trait Dungeons or can be purchased from the Exchange using Adventurer’s Emblem medals earned by completing various missions. You can also craft these materials from the Alchemist NPC (Shanoa).

Every hero specializes in a particular element, so always prioritize crafting gear that enhances their elemental strengths. When choosing gear stats, place your strongest offensive stat such as Critical Damage or Attack Power on your chest or leg pieces since these equipment slots provide the highest stat values.

However, you should also avoid equipping five pieces of the same gear set. Since full bonuses activate with only three pieces, combining multiple sets usually provides much stronger overall passive effects.

How Does the Karma System Work in DragonSword Awakening?

Karma can be attached to your character's weapon system and plays a major role in overall damage output. Basic Karma provides universal stat bonuses and can usually be equipped on multiple heroes. However, Exclusive Karma is tied to specific characters and unlocks additional abilities that significantly strengthen their combat performance.

How to Upgrade and Ascend Karma

Basic Karma can be upgraded even further through Ascension. Each Karma can be ascended multiple times by collecting duplicate copies, steadily increasing its overall effectiveness. One of the best ways to obtain duplicate Basic Karma is by defeating World Bosses, making daily boss farming an important part of long-term progression.

To upgrade your Karma, you must first have all the required materials, which will then be consumed to upgrade that Karma to the next tier. However, if you obtain Exclusive Karma for characters you don't intend to use, dismantling it rewards valuable resources. However, if you have a Fragment of Afterimage, you can exchange it for an Exclusive Karma belonging to heroes you actually play.

You can also craft a Fragment of Afterimage by using a Fragment of Memory and a Whirling Thoughts. These materials can be farmed at the Tower of Trials, which is located in the Skyspire Rock mountain.

How Do You Farm Fragment of Sacred Light in DragonSword Awakening?

Fragment of Sacred Light is one of the most important progression currencies in DragonSword Awakening, as it can be used to purchase Stigma Awaken Stone. The primary way to farm them is through exploration. Opening hidden treasure chests, defeating mini-bosses scattered throughout the world, and clearing optional exploration content all reward Fragment of Sacred Light.
