Best Ranked Classes in Enshrouded
S-Tier
- Battlemage - Battlemage is an excellent class for players who like to use magic staves and wands. Another reason why this glass is so good is that it unlocks the Tank abilities during your leveling up. Spellcasting classes usually have next-to-none Constitution, so tanking your Battlemage will make your game much easier.
- Tank - It's hard to avoid fighting close up in Enshrouded, and that's why Tank is a very favored class. Having the ability to take a massive amount of damage in a world where everything tries to kill you is a desirable trait. Not only that, but also, when playing in a group, tanks can direct enemies' attacks on themselves.
- Survivor - The Survivor class in a survival game must be good, right? And it really is, as Survivor's skill set grants numerous bonuses to your skills and stats. For example, choosing the Survivor can lower your stamina consumption, make you double jump, increase your speed, and so on.
- Warrior - Choosing the Warrior class is choosing the violence. This class is focused on close combat with weapons. The Warrior's skills are primarily about improving your damage-dealing properties by making you stronger or faster. Warrior is an excellent first choice for Enshrouded.
A-Tier
- Barbarian - Barbarian is a subclass of Warrior that uses two-handed weapons. He's such an impressive damage dealer he can stun his opponents. Barbarian's skills are mostly about being able to hit so hard that his opponents' defense stats are shrinking.
- Ranger - The Ranger class is excellent for players who want to deal with enemies from a distance, not revealing themselves. The skills you need are precision and swift movement. And, of course, a lot of patience.
- Wizard - If you are interested in being a powerful spellcaster, then you can choose the Wizard. This class deals with magic spells based on natural forces, but also the dark ones. The biggest shortcoming of Wizard is that it is hard to survive the starting levels.
B-Tier
- Athlete - The Athlete class is one of the most well-rounded. Your character is a jack of all trades with a lot of useful abilities. The big downside of Athletes is that they cannot be specialists.
- Healer - The Healer class is focused on healing. What a surprise, huh? This makes him very useful if you play with friends. Unfortunately, solo play with Healer is a nightmare because of his low damage output.
C-Tier
- Assassin - The Assassin class was made for people who like exploding arrows. I have no other explanation for why this class is so specific about this one type of weapon. It's like the opposite of Athlete, but significantly lower tier.
- Trickster - The Trickster is an interesting class whose main strength reflects the damage to the enemies. Although this sounds like a really good class on paper, it doesn't work too well compared to the other classes.
D-Tier
- Beastmaster - I really thought the ability to communicate with beasts would be more useful in Enshrouded. Unfortunately, this class relies too much on that one ability, which isn't usable in many situations.
