Best Piano Performances We’ve Seen From Cloud So Far in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth

People out there be covering entire songs using the piano mini-game, while I can't even get an A in Tifa's Theme.

The Piano is one of many intricate and entertaining minigames in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, and a lot of people have been really creative with the instrument ever since the demo dropped. Here are all the best piano performances we've seen from Cloud in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.

To Zanarkand - Final Fantasy X

This piano piece took me back to the good ol' PS2 days when I played a ton of Final Fantasy X and XII. To Zanarkand is the main menu OST of the original Final Fantasy X, and it's one of the most iconic and emotional pieces the franchise has ever produced.

"Listen to my story. This may be our last chance." This line by Tidus really hits home when you know the story of Final Fantasy X, coupled with the soothing notes of To Zanarkand, is just *chef's kiss* or so the kids say these days.

Aerith's Theme - Final Fantasy VII

Even though the demo only included the music sheet for Tifa's Theme, Pianist Chris Bullock says otherwise as he gently caresses our ears with Aerith's theme song at Tifa's House! The soothing and soft notes of this piece remind us of Aerith's character. Maybe some day, Chris will soon play Sephiroth's theme through the Piano minigame.

The Price of Freedom - Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core

The Price of Freedom is one of my favorite tracks in all of Final Fantasy. The resolve that the notes bring to Zack Fair's story coincides with his dedication to becoming a hero. Hearing this piece played on the piano minigame in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth sent chills down my spine, as you can hear the rawness of each note denoting Zack's valor to save Cloud in his final moments.

Metal Gear Solid Main Theme

Moving on from Final Fantasy OSTs, we come to another popular song from a famous franchise, Metal Gear Solid. The piece here by Janne Oksanen made me realize the brutal truth that we might not get another Metal Gear Solid Game. The slower tempo of the song added more emotion to the piece as if we were saying goodbye to Snake, Raiden, and Big Boss. Whatever the future is for the Metal Gear Franchise, you'll always be in my memory card.

My Heart Will Go On - Celine Dion

Who would've thought any of us would be able to hear Cloud play My Heart Will Go On from Titanic? I certainly didn't, but the fact that players are now playing these songs through a minigame is beyond amazing. If you haven't heard of My Heart Will Go On or watched The Titanic for some reason, I recommend you check both of them out, as they are amazing pieces of art for both the music and cinema industry.
