How to cook better in Fire Emblem Engage

You will first need to head to the Café Terrace to cook in Fire Emblem Engage. This location is unlocked after you clear Chapter 5. While you can cook many different meals, all characters have meals they prefer, and you can improve your dishes.

To cook better in Fire Emblem Engage, you must add toppings to your dishes. Calculate what food and topping you used based on the companions that Alear eats with. Make sure to use their preference, or you may serve them a dish they do not like and go into battle with a debuff.

How to get Bento in Fire Emblem Engage

Whether you get Bentos in Fire Emblem Engage is somewhat random, but you can increase your odds of receiving this by having the dish cooked well and using extra ingredients. Speak to the chef after the meal, and you may receive a Bento. You can give this to characters to use in battle to heal.

What extra ingredients to use in Fire Emblem

Toppings are some of the best extra ingredients to use in Fire Emblem Engage. We recommend trying to use Rare ingredients like Rare Vegetables, Rare Fruit, Rare Fish, and others like this. Make sure to match up what ingredients and toppings you use to who you are dining with.

Can you remove the debuff from failing cooking in Fire Emblem Engage?

At the time of writing, we have not found a way to get rid of the debuff from a failed dish in Fire Emblem Engage. Therefore, you should ensure that you serve the correct foods to your units; otherwise, you will have to go into combat with the debuff.
