How to get A Fun Time With Freddy achievement in FNAF Into the Pit

There are many mysteries to uncover and achievements to conquer in Five Nights at Freddy's: Into the Pit, and one of the most elusive is the 'A Fun Time With Freddy' achievement. How to unlock A Fun Time With Freddy achievement in FNAF Into the Pit

While many of the achievements in Five Nights at Freddy's: Into the Pit pose unique challenges (especially the 'Hide-n-Seek World Champ' one), one of the easiest to accidentally miss is the 'A Fun Time With Freddy' achievement. This one requires you to "run into Freddy blocking a door", and the opportunity to do so is very brief and can seem very difficult. However, there is a very useful trick to get this achievement easily.

First off, you'll want to start a new playthrough save file at the Main Menu (preferably on Creepy difficulty so you can speed through), and scroll over to the 'Advanced' menu (as seen above). Under 'Animatronic Aggression', go down to Freddy's icon at the bottom of the list and increase his meter all the way up.

This ensures that you will get the maximum amount of "doorway chances" (as indicated on the right) from Freddy, as he is only encountered actively for a short time during Night 4 (all other instances on other nights are scripted).

Once you reach Night 4 and have retrieved the Firecrackers from Jet at the Library, make your way to the Storage Room in Freddy Fazbear's Pizza and interact with the door to the Security Room. Oswald will automatically run back the other way and drop the lit Firecrackers on the floor as Freddy comes out. Once they go off and Freddy malfunctions, Oswald will run inside the Security Room when he has the chance.

Once inside, immediately look back toward the door, where Freddy should peek his head through for a few seconds (as seen above). Run at him while this is happening and the achievement will unlock.

If you miss him at the Security Office door, run around the Pizzeria and try other doors, as he will continue popping up at random ones during this specific point of the objective. DO NOT interact with the trapped girl in the Security Office or the Cameras. Also, Spring Bonnie and Chica will NOT be active during this part of the objective, so you can run around freely until you track down Freddy.
