For The King 2 – Where to get a Carnival Ticket for the Dark Carnival

Do you dare enter?

For The King 2 puts a fun spin on the roguelike tactical RPG, but the fun takes on a new level at the Dark Carnival. You'll need a Carnival Ticket before entering the deadly fun house, but I'm here to help you get a Carnival Ticket in For The King 2.

There are two ways to get a Carnival Ticket in For The King 2. You can randomly find one as loot, typically from dungeon treasure chests. The other method is to visit the Night Market. The Night Market has a much higher chance of having a Carnival Ticket for sale, but you must purchase it. I found my first Carnival Ticket on my second visit to the Night Market.

The Dark Carnival is a random location spawn in For The King 2, meaning you cannot predict when and where it will appear. I encountered one around round 30 but also had one spawn a few tiles from the starting location in Chapter 1. It is ultimately up to chance if you find a Dark Carnival.

I recommend waiting to visit the Dark Carnival in For The King 2 until you have gear increasing your Luck stat. The games at the Dark Carnival are brutal, offering good rewards but potentially deadly ones too. You cannot use Focus at the Dark Carnival since it uses the Luck stat. Still, if you want to take a chance, choose a game carefully.

For The King 2 - Ghost Petting Zoo

Ghost Petting Zoo is the safest option. It provides a guaranteed Follower and no chance of killing a party member. Followers aren't a bad reward, as they follow your party until they die, unlike Mercenaries who leave after several turns.

For The King 2 - Wheel of Death

Wheel of Death is the most dangerous but offers precious hearts for your life pool. I only recommend selecting this option if you have a good Luck stat. I played Wheel of Death with 55 Luck and got party death, ending my run on one gamble.

For The King 2 - Fun House

Fun House is the middle option for risk vs. reward. You can get pretty good rewards, but you also risk death. I recommend this option if you want to be a little more risky than the Petting Zoo but don't want to kill your entire party.
