In Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2, you can ride grind rails at the Mega City POI located on the southeastern side of the map. Grind rails offer high-octane combat opportunities, making every engagement that much more challenging. You need to know how to move around these grind rails quickly to get more eliminations. How to grind rails in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2

Grind rails are located at the Mega City POI in Fortnite, and you can ride these to move around the POI easily. There are several sets of grind rails at this location, allowing you to chase down enemies faster or evade them craftily. Along with grind rails, you'll also find ziplines on tall buildings at the Mega City POI. Use these ziplines to gain a height advantage over enemies during intense fights. Here are a few tips and tricks to use Grind Rails in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2.

Grind rails allow you to move forward or backward by riding along the path. You can simply jump on the rail to get on top and start riding the rail. While on top of a grind rail, you can shoot at enemies, heal yourself, get a speed boost, and jump onto other rail tracks. To change direction on a grind rail, jump and press the desired directional input to move along the path. Grind rails allow you to cruise around the area, and they also give you the ability to jump off the path without taking any fall damage. You can use grind rails to rotate quickly and mantle onto other buildings closer to the path.

Remember, if you are being chased by opponents on a grind rail, you can change your direction quickly to fire at them while moving on the rail. Use the sprint option to move quickly toward the enemies while fighting them on grind rails. One of the Week 0 quests requires you to restore health or shields while riding a grind rail in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2. Since this is a new mechanic in Fortnite, you can expect more quests to arrive related to the grind rail.
