How to get Copper in LEGO Fortnite

In LEGO Fortnite, Copper is one of the resources essential for crafting and upgrading purposes, and you have to know how to get this material. I've ventured across the map to find the rarest resources from hidden corners, and here's how to get Copper easily in-game.

Where to find Copper in LEGO Fortnite

Copper can be found inside Lava Caves located in the Dry Valley biome in LEGO Fortnite. Heads up, this area is exceptionally hot, so it is recommended that you prepare accordingly. Consume items that increase Heat resistance, and equip different trinkets and charms to survive in this area. I suggest equipping the Cool-Headed Charm and consuming food like Snowberry Shake and wild Snowberries.

You need to use a Rare Pickaxe to break Copper deposits inside a Lava Cave. Upgrade your Crafting Bench to access new recipes for weapons and tools. The resources you need to craft the Rare Pickaxe are Flexwood Rod and Sand Claw. After acquiring these items, head over to the upgraded Crafting Bench to make a Rare Pickaxe.

Copper is a shiny metal and its deposits can be identified by its bright brown color. Check the image above to see how Copper deposits look inside a Lava Cave. With the Rare Pickaxe in hand, start hammering down on the nodes to harvest the material. Remember, you can store up to 30 Copper pieces in one inventory slot, so it is best to enter the cave with an empty bag if you are planning to farm this resource.

How to craft Copper Bars in LEGO Fortnite

To craft Copper Bars, construct a Metal Smelter in your Village. This machine allows you to produce refined resources using raw materials. I recommend leveling up your Village quickly to get more utility structures in the Build option. This way, you can hire more companions and start producing resources at a faster pace.

The recipe to craft a Copper Bar in LEGO Fortnite is as follows:

• One piece of Copper (Rare)
• Two pieces of Brightcore (Rare)
