How to lock onto an opponent’s vehicle and damage it with the Anvil Rocket Launcher in Fortnite

You can run, but you can never hide.

The Anvil Rocket Launcher is Fortnite's very own Javelin fire-and-forget missile, which is very useful against vehicles. Since Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 has tanks, the Anvil Rocket Launcher feels right at home currently. All you need to do is fire the weapon and continue moving. It will launch and after a few seconds of airtime, it will hit the mark where your crosshair was at while firing this weapon.

In order to lock onto an enemy vehicle with the Anvil Rocket Launcher, you need to aim down the sights with it first. Once you've done that, you will see a small yellow outline of the enemy vehicle that keeps turning red. The outline will turn completely red when there is a 100% lock on. Fire the missile once this happens. The missile will fly in the air for a few seconds and then it will hit the target from above.

Although this weapon is particularly effective against vehicles, you could also use it to put pressure on campers. Yes, you won't be able to target enemy players with it, but you can target a general location and fire. Once you've done that, you can just hope that your enemies get caught within the blast radius. Good luck with the experiments, looper!
