How to unlock Rumble Ruins Vault in Fortnite

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 is officially here, and to make things more interesting, Epic Games have added plenty of new aspects to the game, including new POIs, weapons, Reality Augments, Flowers, and much more. Players will have to delve deep into the wilderness of the jungle biomes, and you'll come across a few vaults in this region. One of the jungle vaults is at Rumble Ruins, and you need to know how to unlock it. Here's how to unlock the Rumble Ruins jungle vault in Fortnite Wilds Chapter 4, Season 3.

How to enter the Rumble Ruins jungle vault in Fortnite

In Fortnite, vaults can be accessed with a key or keycards, but I learned you need to submit something else entirely for this particular jungle vault. After landing at Rumble Ruin, travel to the largest structure on the eastern side of the POI, and go underground using the staircase. Here you will find the locked jungle vault. Interact with the vault, and it will ask you to submit a worthy item. You can submit any Epic or Legendary loot to unlock the jungle vault at Rumble Ruins.

I experimented with this with all sorts of rarity of weapons, and only Epic or Legendary worked. If you have anything below, don't bother going to this vault. You won't gain entry.

Check the yellow circle on the map image above to see the exact location of the jungle vault at Rumble Ruins. Inside the jungle vault, you will find a couple of epic chests, along with regular chests. You'll also have a chance to get the new mythic Cybertron Cannon inside the jungle vault. As for finding the Epic/Legendary item, I recommend using the Kinetic Boomerang. Since this item is readily available at the Rumble Ruins POI, you can use it to get into the vault and find another Boomerang to keep in your inventory.

Another tip I'd like to mention is not opening the vault until all the enemies at the POI are eliminated. I died a couple of times to campers who waited for me to open the vault and then eliminated me to steal the loot. Try not to make the same mistake. Get guns and shields, and start taking down players first before heading for the vault.
