Are you a Fortnite fan? Check. And also a LEGO fan? Then you'll surely be happy to hear that the latest LEGO Fortnite Klombo update has a fresh new name and newly minted release date.

According to X (formerly known as Twitter) user ShiinaBR (who delivers the latest Fortnite news and leaks and is also officially partnered with developer Epic Games), the latest LEGO Klombo update is officially titled "Lost Isles" and will be released sooner rather than later – on September 17th, 2024, to be exact.

iFireMonkey, another X user and prominent leaker, also shared the story, revealing that the news was announced in the Fortnite menus themselves which first pop up upon launching the game. This could be a reason for missing the announcement if you're one to quickly scroll past news updates to get to the action faster (I know I am).

Beyond the official title and release date, information on the latest LEGO Fortnite Klombo update is rather scarce. But the ever-active Fortnite community on Reddit isn't keeping quiet, with some users speculating that the LEGO Fortnite Lost Isles update will be somewhat similar to the recent LEGO Fortnite Star Wars Island update, with a jungle landscape in place instead.

Other players expressed a more critical view of developer Epic Games adding to Fortnite's landmass by simply dotting smaller islands around the game's mainland. More substantial updates to the game's main landmass are preferable instead so that the map's overall size doesn't feel artificially inflated.

Whatever the case, we'll surely see whether or not the LEGO Fortnite Lost Isles update differs from previous ones when it all drops on September 17th. Until then, you best get to brushing up your Fortnite skills and clean all that rust off before the update finally arrives.
