How to acquire the maximum number of Katashiro in Ghostwire: Tokyo

Akito can only hold 50 Katashiro!

In Ghostwire Tokyo, players will find various Spirits all around the map, and the only way to protect them from Hannya is to absorb them with Katashiro. These magic paper dolls are used to absorb Spirits, and then transfer them via Payphones.

While there are over 240,000 Spirits spread across the map, players are wondering how many Katashiro can be held at once. Akito can carry only 50 Katashiro in Ghostwire: Tokyo. You can purchase them from Nekomata shops for around 3000 Meika each.

After owning 50 Katashiro, the option to buy them at shops will be disabled. You will also unlock the Boundless Spirit Achievement after purchasing 50 Katashiro. Transferring Spirits absorbed by Katashiro at Payphones will reward players with Meika and XP.

Having the maximum number of Katashiro at your disposal is ideal for absorbing numerous Spirits from any area before transferring them. Players can save Meika early in the game to purchase the maximum number of Katashiro. This will allow you to capture more Spirits and level up faster in the game.
