In the recent Ghostwire: Tokyo pre-launch gameplay stream from Bethesda Softworks, players got to learn about the game's mechanics and its vast open-world. One of the items shown early was an Omikuji, and these can be purchased to raise or lower your attributes.

Omikuji, as described by the developers, are fortunes that players can find at certain Shrines. Players can Draw an Omikuji by spending 200 Meika, and it will offer a slight buff or debuff. The Shokichi Omikuji, which was shown on the stream, gave players a buff to get double Meika from Ether Crystals for a limited time.

What is Meika in Ghostwire: Tokyo?

Meika is the currency in Ghostwire: Tokyo, and from what was shown it can be acquired through various methods. Similarly, you can spend these to buy numerous essential items. Players will also find various Nekomata in Ghostwire: Tokyo, and you can buy vital items from the Shop these cute floating cats offer.

As shown in the pre-launch gameplay stream, players will earn Meika by completing various quests, defeating enemies, and other activities. Use them to purchase the necessary Talisman and all other items including an Omikuji.

While the pre-launch gameplay broadcast revealed several things about the world of Ghostwire: Tokyo, players will have to wait till the game releases to know more. Ghostwire: Tokyo will arrive on March 25, 2022, on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.
