If you haven't played Gran Turismo before, then you're likely wondering how in-depth it is. The series has long been hailed as the most accurate racing simulator, which feeds into the option to customize your cars. Customization is still a core feature in the series and gives GT7 even more depth.
There are 60 types of performance parts you can change out for every car in the game to get the perfect tune. This includes parts that can alter your car's suspension and breaks. An easy customization list allows you to swiftly switch out parts, to instantly change the performance of your car.

There is also a body customization system that lets you outfit the body of your car with parts. This includes a selection of over 130 types of wheels, over 650 aerodynamic parts, and the option to add in extras like roll-cages. If you want, you can even increase how wide the body of your car is.
Car painting and decals have also taken a step up by allowing a greater portion of the car to be customized. This includes placing decals over windows to fully immerse your car in a unique design.
