Characters in Granblue Fantasy Relink are a mixture of fantasy tropes and anime personalities. However, you don't get all the characters at the beginning of the game. That's why you need this secret characters unlock guide for Granblue Fantasy Relink.

How to unlock Secret Characters in Granblue Fantasy Relink

In Granblue Fantasy Relink, you can unlock the characters in two ways: either by playing through the story or by trading them for Character Cards in Sierokarte’s Knickknack Shack. There are eight characters you can unlock during the story mode, and most of them are available after the first chapter out of eleven.

Story Mode Unlocked Characters

• Gran/Djeeta - Two of them are the main characters, and you can pick only one of them. They are available at the very beginning of the game.
• Katalina - Katalina is a lady knight sworn to protect the Erste Empire. After her knightly duties ended, she became Lyria's protector. Katalina is a great offensive and support unit.
• Rackam - He is the captain of the Grandcypher airship. He uses firearms to deal massive damage to enemy units. He also has quite a temper.
• Io - Io looks small and cute, but she's a really powerful mage. Her command of elements is supreme, and she's a very valuable support unit.
• Eugen - He's a veteran in skyfare combat who battles with grief and regret. He uses firearms and explosions and deals massive damage to enemy units.
• Rosseta - She's a mysterious mage with strong rose symbols. Her attacks and special moves are all in the rose insignia. Rosseta is quite mysterious and likes to watch the story unfold.
• Id - This mysterious swordsman is your biggest foe, willing to disrupt you at any stage of your journey. You can unlock him by completing Chapter Ø.

Sierokarte’s Knickknack Shack Unlocked Characters

Except by playing the story, you can unlock characters by obtaining Crewmate Cards. You can discover the cards after certain chapters but also after finishing certain Quests. However, the units you'll buy with Crewmate Cards are up to you. Here are all the ways to unlock Crewmate Cards:

• Siero will give you your first Crewmate Card at the beginning of Chapter 4.
• You will get the second Crewmate Card from Siero after you help Zathma gather information in Chapter 6.
• Siero will give you the third Crewmate Card after you start Chapter 8 and return to Seedhollow.
• You will get a Crewmate Card after beginning Chapter 0 and after you unlock extreme difficulty by winning the License to Thrill Rank-Up Quest.

For the rest of the cards, you will have to go to the Quest Corner. There, you can pick up optional quests and get one Crewmate Card per completion. The card-giving optional quests are listed below.

• Saga Grande: The Beginning
• The Saga Continues: Ice
• The Saga Continues: Fire
• Hide and Chic
• Wings of Antiquity
• No One Likes Leftovers

You can unlock 12 characters with Crewmate Cards, and they are as follows:

• Cagliostro - Greatly powerful, body-shifting mage. She might look like a little girl, but she's one of the leading mages in the world.
• Charlotta - This cute halfling lady is the captain of the holy knight's order. She's a devoted warrior whose sword clears the world of evil.
• Ferry - Ferry is an Erune, which I presume is a bunny girl. Also, she's already dead, and now her soul wonders the world as a Spirit Maiden.
• Ghandagoza - He is a legend in the Granblue Fantasy world, being a founder of the Eternal Rage style. This scary fighter is strong enough to beat monsters with his fists.
• Lancelot - This young captain of the Order of the White Dragon is one of the nights inspired by King Arthur's myths. He wields dual swords and specializes in rushing down his enemies with quick combos.
• Narmaya - This demon girl looks harmless, but she is one of the finest warriors in the game. She's a master of Ephemeral Blade, the sword style she has been studying her whole life.
• Percival - Percival, the Lord of Flames, is a young, noble warrior with a goal to create a kingdom without wars. He controls the element of fire and uses a two-handed sword to sear and burn.
• Siegfried - This character is similar to his namesake from Soul Calibur. His weapon is an oversized two-handed sword, and his storyline revolves around redemption after being pronounced a traitor.
• Vane - This Knight of Valor has a rather straightforward motivation to protect everyone and everything he holds dear. His weapon of choice is a battle halberd, and he packs quite a punch with it.
• Vaseraga - This huge warrior wields Great Scythe Grynoth, a scary weapon he signed a contract with. Vaseraga is a member of an organization that hunts primal monsters.
• Yodarha - Like many other characters, Yodarha looks harmless, but he's one of the best fencers in the world. Despite being past his prime, he is still very dangerous.
• Zeta - Along with Vaseraga, Zeta is another member of the monster-hunting organization. She also made a contract with her weapon, Spear of Arvess.
