How to get The Gooch outfit in GTA Online
It's that time of year again, with GTA Online bringing back its Festive Surprise Event. Many new and old features are returning to the game. One of the main focuses of this event is The Gooch, a re-skinned mugger who randomly jumps out at you at any given time. Defeating The Gooch unlocks The Gooch Outfit, whereas last year, you could only obtain The Gooch Mask.
Since The Gooch randomly attacks any player during a session, it can be frustrating to encounter him. So, in order to improve your chances, you should:
- Have a private session with two players.
- Be on the session for more than 48 minutes.
- Have some cash on hand.
- Be on foot.
- Last but not least, be patient.

After 48 minutes have passed, The Gooch has a chance to spawn every 20 minutes. I highly recommend that you stay in open areas so that it's easier for you to shoot him down when you see him spawn through the puff of green smoke.
Once you defeat him, he will drop a wrapped present that unlocks The Gooch Outfit, including both the mask and the rest of the clothing. I suggest engaging in some open activities on the map while you wait for time to pass, as it can be frustrating to just stand around doing nothing.
