How to find Rubbish in Hades 2

You might not think Rubbish could be useful in the Underworld, but there is always a use for everything, and this Reagant is no different. Here's how to find Rubbish in Hades 2.

Where to get Rubbish in Hades 2

If you're wondering where to get Rubbish in Hades 2 to complete an incantation, don't worry; it's not difficult to find. However, you can still miss it if you don't explore the Crossroads every time you're back from a run. Make sure to check every nook and cranny as you could miss something valuable.

First, keep in mind that you can't find it right at the start of the game. You'll have to go on several runs before Eris shows up in the Crossroads. You can find her to the left of the Fated List of Minor Prophecies, past Lord Moros. She will be standing near the blocked-off gate.

I had to get to Oceanus before she showed up in the game for me, but I have to admit I hadn't checked this area regularly so she might have been there for longer. Just be sure to check after every run and you'll find her there eventually.

Eris is snacking and throwing the wrappers all over the place, so there will be a lot of rubbish for you to pick up. When you start cleaning up, she will tell you that you shouldn't bother.

What is Rubbish used for in Hades 2?

Other than just being good manners, you should collect it all since you will need it for an incantation called the Summoning a Colony of Bats. This incantation allows you to activate bats in cages in the city of Ephyra to survey the area so that you can orient yourself.

This incantation requires 3 rubbish and 3 moss. You can get moss in the starting area on the surface. However, even if you collect all of the rubbish you need the first time, the Incantation doesn't unlock immediately. I had to pick up rubbish after Eris two times before it finally showed up so that I could make it.
