While a near-midnight launch is not uncommon, typically game releases tend to be toward the morning hours of most timezones. Nevertheless, It will interesting to see what has changed between Helldivers 1 and Helldivers 2 considering Helldivers 2 looks to have kept much of what made the first game such a treat to play.
