How to duplicate items and styles in House Flipper 2

Duplicating items and styles will make your house flipping so much easier, but to be able to do it, you're going to need some very special perks unlocked for your Flipper Tool. Here's how!

How to copy items and finishes in House Flipper 2

Your Flipper Tool is not just used to sell items, although this is what it will initially be for when you start the game. However, the more you use it, the more you'll level up your Flipper skill, and this will open up more possibilities, such as copying items, styles, and finishes and pasting them down where you want without the extra hassle. Here's a look at how you can get and perform both.

How to duplicate items in House Flipper 2

To start duplicating items, you will need the 'Like two drops of water' perk unlocked. This is within the Perks menu under the Flipper Tool skill. To unlock the perk, you'll need to use your Flipper Tool continuously until you level up and earn a Perk Point.

Once you have the perk unlocked, you can start using the Duplicate ability by equipping your Flipper Tool and then pressing R. This will open the Flipper Tool options wheel, and allow you to select the Duplicate at the bottom of the wheel. Now you can select an item with M1 to copy it and place down the same item (M1) next to it as many times you want.

How to copy item styles and finishes in House Flipper 2

Just like the Duplicate ability, the Copy ability can only be obtained by unlocking a perk. For this one, you'll need the 'Trendsetter' perk. This is found under the Flipper Tool skill in the Perks menu as well, and can only be unlocked by earning a Perk Point.

With the ability unlocked, you can open the Flipper Tool wheel with R and then select the Copy Style ability on the right side of the wheel. This will allow you to press M1 on an object, paste the same style, and finish on another object with M1. This is ideal for making your couches and chairs match easily or even copying the same wood finish on cabinets and tables.

This will make your flipping life so much easier, especially when working on renovating your own complete properties with lots of furniture and finishes to account for. Keep leveling up your skills to unlock these abilities and improve your tools.
