You may not have to worry about it while playing Sandbox mode, but when progressing through the House Flipper 2 story, you're going to need to unlock all the tools in your tool wheel over time. Here's how!
How to get all the tools in House Flipper 2
As you start the game, your tool wheel will be very limited, pretty much only your Hands being available. You won't be able to place tiles or demolish walls until you start unlocking those tools and skills. To do this, you'll need to complete the right jobs and progress along the story. Here's a look at every job required to get all your tools.
Flipper Tool, Collecting Trash, and Cleaning
These are the first few tools you get to complete your initial jobs. You'll unlock them as you enter your first job via the Emails page. Despite being the least fun tools to use, they are still some of the most important ones you'll need to complete almost every job. You can upgrade all of them on the Perks page, including getting a Cleaner Spray for Cleaning.

Vacuuming
While it may look like a Swiffer mop or some kind of odd metal detector, this Vacuum will do the trick for all those tiny little pieces of debris. You'll need to complete the job "Out with the old!" for Emma Baker to gain access to it. Then you can start sucking up all kinds of things, including leaves. It's probably the second most satisfying thing to do in the game (after knocking a wall down, of course).
Painting and Wiring
You will finally be able to paint and style some walls once you unlock your Painting tool by completing the "Adding a cafe to my bookshop" job for Jane Ouattara. Along with the Painting tool, you'll also receive your Wiring tool. Although this isn't something you'll use quite as often as the paint, you'll find it useful for attaching lights to switches.
Surface Finishes
Another tool you'll be using quite a bit is the Surface Finishes tool. This tool allows you to place tiles, wallpaper, and all kinds of textures on the walls and floors (particularly helpful for bathrooms and kitchens). You can unlock it by completing the job, "New walls, new me," for Mark Pescini.
Demolishing and Building
Last but not least, you can unlock the Building and Demolishing tools. They are two of the most essential tools you'll need to flip houses, especially if you're looking to buy and sell your own properties, which is why it will take a bit longer to get them. You can unlock them by completing the, "A floor plan to change," job for David Hoffman.
With all the tools and abilities at your disposal, you'll be able to do so much more in and outside of jobs, especially fixing up your own houses to sell (which is what I was most looking forward to). Don't forget to get upgrades for these tools on the Perks page as you level up to make them even more effective.
