How to Unlock More Portal Recipes in Hytale
When you craft the Arcanist’s Workbench in Hytale, only one Portal recipe is unlocked by default (Teleporter). However, there are four more Portal recipes. To unlock those, you need to collect and record memories at the Forgotten Temple.
Once you record 100 Memories at the Forgotten Temple, you'll unlock the remaining portal recipes and will be able to craft the Ancient Gateway and three different Portal Fragments.

How to Unlock and Craft Arcanist’s Workbench in Hytale
Before you can unlock the literal magic in Hytale, you need to unlock and craft the Arcanist’s Workbench. To craft the Arcanist’s Workbench, you have to upgrade your classic Workbench to Tier 2. For that, you’ll need the following items:
