How to make quick XP in Icarus?

Experience is the main way to level up in games, and this is no different in Icarus. Players will want to level up quickly as this is the primary way to unlock new blueprints essential to surviving. A player's experience points can be seen in the top-left corner of the screen.

Since this is an important aspect of the game, players may be wondering how to get experience quickly in Icarus. Nearly everything in the game will net experience, but some methods are faster than others. The best ways to get XP quick in Icarus would be to chop down trees and hunting.

Level up Fast

While chopping down trees and hunting are both good ways to get quick XP, the fastest method to level up would be to chop down every tree you see. They only take a few swings to knock down, and then the truck can be broken up as well. Trees are far more plentiful and easy to find than wildlife.

Chop Trees

It sounds weird, but chopping trees will give the player a good amount of experience. This provides a lot of experience, but it also doubles as giving you much-needed resources that you will need as you progress. You can get talents that increase your experience yield, such as the Lumber Yield and Peerless Lumberjack. Trees are plentiful, especially in the early game, and all you need is a good ax to grind for experience in this way.

Hunting

Another excellent way to level up quickly is to hunt and kill animals. You will start by crafting a bow, as this is one of the best weapons in the game, especially early on. We recommend practicing your shots on harmless animals first before moving on to more dangerous predators. Two techniques to increase your hunting skills are to crouch or climb on rocks. Crouching allows you to deal sneak attack damage which greatly increases the power of your bow. You can also jump on rocks that animals cannot reach you, thus making you safe from their attacks while still being able to attack them.

These are the best methods to make experience quickly and level up fast. Building, gathering, and mining will all net your experience, but these methods are the fastest, with chopping trees being the absolute best.
