How to set a Spawn Point in Icarus

Get comfy!

Survival games are dangerous to navigate. It only takes one wrong decision to cause you to lose your life, and it often carries a heavier toll than it does compared to other game genres. This is no different in Icarus, which will certainly challenges the player in their fight for survival. Players can respawn when they die, but it will be in a random location unless they set a spawn point.

To set a spawn point in Icarus, you will need to craft a bedroll or wood bed. Without a bed, you will randomly respawn somewhere on the map. Using a bedroll gives you a fixed spawn point for when you die. You will need the following material to craft a bedroll and wood bed.

Bedroll

  • Fiber - 20
  • Stick - 10
  • Fur - 20
  • Leather - 10

Wood Bed - Carpentry Bench Required for crafting

  • Refined Wood - 20
  • Fur - 30
  • Leather - 10
  • Copper Nails - 10

After you've crafted your item of choice, you will need to sleep in it to set your spawn point. Sleeping in Icarus requires heat and shelter. This means you need to place your bed near a campfire or other heat source and have a roof and walls (shelter).
