Where to find Water in Icarus

A key aspect of survival games is managing your resources and health. Typically, this includes staying on top of your hunger and thirst. This holds true for Icarus. Staying hydrated is a fundamental pillar of surviving, so you may be wondering where to find water in Icarus.

You can find water from natural pools of freshwater, rain, and some foods. Lakes, pools, and streams are a great way to stay hydrated, just be careful that you do not contract dysentery. Building a rain reservoir is another great way to collect water. Both of these can completely refill your thirst.

Certain juicy foods, like berries, will actually hydrate you. Consuming these types of foods are a good way to manage both your hunger and your thirst. Keep in mind that berries will not completely refill your thirst. This means that natural sources of water are still your best bet.

An important point about finding water resources is that Icarus' map is static. This means that once you discover a source of water, you now know where it is forever. Keep track of these locations so that you can quickly return to sources of water.
