Kingdom Hearts Missing Link closed beta – How to sign up

The eagerly awaited addition to the Kingdom Heart franchise, Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link, will be with us soon. Read on below for all the details about how to sign up for the closed beta test.

If you haven't heard of it until now, Kingdom Hearts Missing Link is an action RPG designed by publisher Square Enix as a mobile experience that uses GPS technology, adding a real-world element to play as you continue your fight against the Heartless. 

How to sign up for the Kingdom Hearts Missing Link closed beta

If you were worried the test may be either iOS or Android only, don’t panic. Users of both types of devices can apply for a closed beta spot at different times during the testing process. The latest beta testing application dates are as follows:

• iOS application period (April): April 22-26, 2024 (closes at 6.59 am UTC)
• iOS application period (May): From 7 am UTC on May 2-5, 2024 (expected to close at 8.59 am UTC)
• Android application period: Postponed (see below)

Once again this testing period is only available to UK and Australian residents and you must be 18 years or older. To apply, you’re asked to fill out the Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link application form.

Note that the planned Android closed beta testing (originally planned for the same period) has been postponed. Square Enix apologized for the postponement on the official @KHMLink_NA X account, where you can stay up-to-date on all of its CBT announcements.

Recommended device and system requirements for beta test

As well as ensuring you are applying for the correct beta test (iOS or Android) and that you're an applicable region, you'll also need to make sure your device is up to the task:

• iOS: The iOS needs to be version 15.0 or higher. Your device must be an iPhone XS or later and you'll need 5GB of free space.
• Android: The OS needs to be Android 10 or higher. Your device must have a Snapdragon 845 processor or better, at least 4GB of RAM, and you'll need 5GB of free space.
