Last Epoch is an engaging and fast-paced game, but it sometimes confuses players in certain aspects. I had some trouble figuring out how to get my mastery in Last Epoch: here's how to unlock your character's mastery in Last Epoch.
How to unlock mastery in Last Epoch
Unlocking your mastery in Last Epoch requires several aspects. The primary components are reaching level 20 and progressing to Chapter 4. See the list below for everything you need to do to unlock mastery in Last Epoch.

- Complete the Power of Mastery quest.
- Spend 20 points in a bas class tree.

The most confusing part of unlocking mastery is the required quest in Last Epoch. Once you reach the End of Time hub area in Chapter 4, locate the Forgotten Knight. The Power of Mastery quest is given by the Forgotten Knight, but you must have already completed all conversations with Elder Gaspar. Once you accept and complete the quest, you are able to start your mastery if you met the other requirements above.
Can you change mastery in Last Epoch?
Once you've selected a mastery in Last Epoch, you cannot change it. However, you can respec your mastery passives. To play a different mastery, you must start a new character and meet the requirements with that character. Be careful with your mastery selection unless you are willing to invest in another character.
