Minecraft is one of the best sandbox games out there, and I love the building and exploration aspects of it. While the game gives you plenty of freedom in what you can do, I am constantly amazed at how players find ways to break the physics and create new ways to play. One that stands out to me is crawling. This can be tricky to do in Minecraft Bedrock, so I've listed the necessary steps below to help you pull it off.
How to initiate Crawling in Bedrock Minecraft
Crawling in the Bedrock Edition of Minecraft allows you to pass through narrow openings that are less than 1.5 blocks high. Crawling is not attached to a button but rather a series of steps that almost feel like you are breaking the game. Here is how to crawl in Minecraft.
- Double-tap the move button to enter the swim animation. (Requires water two blocks high)
- Enter a passage that is one block high.
This puts you in the crawling animation. You can use the steps below in two easy ways to start crawling in Minecraft. I don't recommend using hanging signs though, so stick to normal signs.
