Where to find Ceanataur's in MHR Sunbreak

You can locate Ceanataur in the Flooded Forest in Areas 3 and 9. The recommended quest to farm Ceanataur is the MR 3 Pollution Problems, as Ceanataur will spawn in two extra areas in the Flooded Forest—Area 3, 9, as well as 10 and 11. You can find Ceanataur in the Lava Caverns, but it's not the optimal area to find and farm them.

There are only three items you can get from carving a Ceanataur. These small monsters have no monster appendages to chop or parts to break—you can only carve from them.

  • Ceanataur Drops

    • Tough Claw—32% and from Meowcenaries
    • Carapaceon Brains+—20%

When fighting these small Carapaceon, make sure you defeat them as fast as possible, or they will burrow into the ground, and you'll have lost your chance until they respawn.
