We get a proper look at Jason and Agent Smith in the official launch trailer for the game included below. The trailer showcases an epic clash of heroes and villains like Wonder Woman, Velma, Rick Sanchez, Marvin the Martian, Iron Giant, and more. Towards the end, when the team of heroes confronts the Joker, we get a proper look at Jason Voorhees and Agent Smith standing beside him as his allies.

Both Jason Voorhees and Agent Smith will appear alongside the Joker as part of the updated MultiVersus roster for Season 1 titled ''Puns & Villainy''. Jason Voorhees will be available during the launch of the game while Agent Smith will be released later in the season. As the season is more or less villain-themed, it's fitting that two iconic villains are being added to the roster.

MultiVersus is preparing for its big launch on May 28 after it shut down its servers for nearly a year after the open beta period ended. During this time, the game transitioned to Unreal Engine 5 to provide players with the best visual experience. The game will be available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The game will also have full crossplay and cross-progression of support so, if you're shifting to a new platform there's nothing to worry about. One of the new features players can expect is the PvE Rifts mode which has a lot of new content for them.
