Teamfight Tactics (TFT) 9.20 Patch Notes – Guardian & Gunslinger Buffs, Assassin & Knight Nerfs!

We're taking a look at the TFT patch notes for the 9.20 update that are scheduled to be released on Wednesday, October 9, 2019! These changes are coming off the recent patch that added the new Kaisa champion to the game. It looks like Riot isn't too happy with where she's at currently because according to the notes she's going to be receiving a buff. Deathblade, the new 2x B.F. Sword item, is also looking to get some love.

As we approach the end of Set 1, we want the last few patches to act as our stabilization period, so we’ll be keeping the amount of changes pretty small. That being said, we’ll continue to make some balance adjustments and follow-up on items and systems to prepare for Set 2.

• XP to Level to 5: 12 -> 10
• XP to Level to 9: 70 -> 66

• Deathblade: Starts with 0 stacks -> Starts with 1 stack (+15 AD)
• Frozen Heart Duration: 4 seconds -> 1 second
• Infinity Edge: 150% Crit Damage -> 125% Crit Damage
• Quicksilver: 5s cooldown -> 3s cooldown
• Thieves Gloves: Lowered the average quality of item combinations
