Full No, I’m Not A Human Walkthrough – All Days, Visitors & Endings

Check them once, check them twice, use our No, I'm not a Human walkthrough so that you don't have to check them thrice.

There's nothing I love more than the ''Check people to survive type of horror game'' so of course we're immediately delving into a full No I'm Not A Human walkthrough, where we'll help you interact with all Visitors, unlock all Endings, point out important Items to use, and more.

How to Survive All Days in No, I'm Not a Human

If you're wondering how to survive all the days in No, I'm Not a Human, we are here to help with our full walkthrough which goes through each day, what to do, how to identify Visitors, as well as how to get all of the endings. This is a work in progress and we will update it with all tried and tested information ASAP.

Important Basics

  • Every day during daylight check the TV again after you've heard the broadcast, you might get a useful add with a phone number, like the FoRest delivery service
  • Every day during daylight make sure to also check the radio as you'll get even more hints on what to look out for when it comes to the Visitors
  • There are some Guests who will come on set days, while there are others that are Randomized. We will list out the exact order of the days below.
  • Kombucha saves the game once, but it's used up. You can buy more from the FoRest delivery service. I suggest using it on Day 8 or 9.
  • Call FoRest every day until you get through, and order something from the Delivery Service.
  • If there are more Visitors than Humans, your Humans will die.
  • If you shoot at a person and Body Bags appear, they were a Human; if it's just the lower half of their body, then they were a Visitor.

Day 1

During the Day 1 daylight, there isn't much going on. Check the TV and Radio, talk to your Neighbor in the Kitchen, and drink a beer to go to sleep. Here is the order the Visitors will show up during the night (from left to right):

Neighbor's Daughter in no I'm not Alone
Little Girl
(Always Human)
Tall Man on Day 1
Tall Man
(Always Human)
Hunched woman with a ginger bob
Hunched Woman
(Always a Visitor)
Randomized guest that could be a Visitor in No, I'm Not a Human
Randomized Guest
(Could be Human or Visitor)

Overall, let everyone in on the first night, as you'll get two confirmed Humans and one randomized Guest who you will have to check if they are a Visitor or not. Additionally, if you let everyone in on a run, you will get the Family Dinner achievement, no matter which ending you get on that run.

Day 2

During Daylight of Day 2 in No I'm Not a Human, make sure to watch the TV for the ForRest Delivery service number, as you won't be able to call until you've seen it. You can immediately place an order and it will arrive during the night. I suggest grabbing Coffee right away, since you will get extra energy for checking. This will also get you the Special Delivery achievement.

When it comes to nighttime, four randomized guests will visit you. If you've ordered delivery, then that one slot will be taken in by the Delivery Guy, and you'll only have three other people to figure out. Make sure to cross reference with our list below so that you know what sings to look out for when it comes to Visitors.

Day 3

When you're up during the Daylight, do the TV and Radio routine first, then question the guests. If you've found signs that a guest is a Visitor, shoot them. Drink your coffee to get one extra energy slot (which is empty at the moment, but will recharge when you go to sleep). Before going to sleep, make sure to call your Neighbor and FEMA, for more lore, information on the Visitors, etc.

During the nighttime, you'll be visited by the Pale Man for the first time. This is where you can get one of the endings Yes, I'm Alone as well as the achievement of the same name. You do this by lying to the Pale Man and picking the ''Yes I'm alone'' dialogue option. This will instantly kill you, and it's only Day 3 so it makes sense to grab this ending ASAP so you don't have to replay far.

If you do choose the ''No, I'm not Alone'' option, the Pale Man will leave (if you really do have others inside), and you'll get visited by two more people. The Prophet will tell you to let the cat in, which you should do, even though the Cat Lady is a always a Visitor.

Day 4

Check the Guests, TV, and Radio, standard procedure so far. When it comes to your guests, check using our table below so you don't accidentally kill a human. You can also check yourself, if you have extra energy. During the night, these people will knock on your door.

Let the Cat Lady for the Cat. Apart from being able to protect you from dreams, the cat will also reveal the Basement, necessary for some special endings.

Day 5

On day 5, there are a few more things you can do. There's now a basement door you can go into (but nothing special at the moment to do). Make sure to also pet the cat and carry it around (as it's extremely cute). You can order it cat food from ForRest as well (as it can come in handy later on). When it comes to your nighttime guests, here's who will be showing up at your door.

Day 6

On this day you'll in No, I'm not a Human, do everything as you normally would, but during the night there will be a slight deviation. Look out the peephole to see the world burning, and you'll get the Come and see achievement. No one else will be showing up to your door, except the Delivery Guy if you ordered something. If you are doing the Shroom or Doom ending of No I'm Not a Human and have triggered it, then the Mushroom Man will show up at your door during this night.

Day 7

If you're doing the Shroom or Doom ending, make sure to go to the Basement and pick up the Mushroom. It will be in the fridge, so make sure you eat it. After completing all of your tasks, as well as checking (and possibly killing) your Guests, here are all the new people knocking on your door.

Day 8

For the Shroom or Doom ending, go to the room on your right (after leaving the bedroom) and click on the Apple from the shelf (next to the bunny) to eat it.

Make sure you have enough people inside, since FEMA agents will be showing up during the night and taking two more people. This is also a good time to save by using the Kombucha next to the radio. A lot of the people showing up this night will be set, like the Cult Leader and the Vigilante. Neither come in, but both are important for unlocking special endings later on.

If you want to get the May Death Cleanse us of our Sins ending, this is when the Cultists will join your crew. You have to keep them alive for a few days before the Cult Leader shows back up.

Day 9

The final step of the Shroom or Doom ending is to click on the clock on your bedroom wall. That's all the prerequisites, now all you have to do is wait for the Mushroom Man to come back during the night. He'll confirm that he'll come back if you succeeded in the ritual. This is also the day when you should give out two FEMA Notices, so that the FEMA agent won't take the Cultists, if that's the ending you are going for. Apart from the endings, here's all the regulars on Night 9.

Day 10

If everything has worked out so far Mushroom Man will come pick you up. If you want the Shroom or Doom ending, go with him. On the other end, if you are going for the Cultist ending, Cult Leader will come back to check in on them now. If they've been taken by FEMA and if only one of them was killed, he will consider this failed and leave. If you succeeded in keeping the Cultists in the Living Room, he will come back the next day to offer you salvation. Now, for the regulars, there's going to be another FEMA raid, as well as a few more guests.

Day 11

On Night 11, you'll get regular guests, as well as the opportunity to get the Cultist ending. If you haven't saved yet, I'd do so now so that you can grab that ending, and then reload and continue regularly until day 14. When the Cult Leader offers you salvation, accept and you'll get the May Death Cleanse us of our Sins ending. If you're not doing that, then here is the roster of guests for the night.

Day 13 & 14

During day 13, do your final checks, get rid of either Visitors or Humans (depending on which ending you are going for), and go to sleep. During the Night, you can only walk around and no new guests will arrive. Go back to sleep and Day 14 will roll out like a cutscene, with either a good or bad ending.

All Visitors in No, I'm Not a Human

Keep in mind that there are some Guests that are always Human, some that are always Visitors, and some that can be either so you'll have to check them. You'll have to be very careful as it's life or death, which is why we're going to help you with a full list of confirmed Visitors, Humans, as well as all possible signs to look out for in a Guest.

How to Identify a Visitor

There are multiple signs that you can check for to establish a Guest is a Visitor or a Human. These will be broadcasted on TV, so every time a new one is on TV, you'll be able to check for it with a Guest during daylight. Here are all the signs to look out for, but make sure you're looking at them in the context of who the person is and what they are saying to you. If you aren't sure but can't check anymore, just leave them be and try talking to them on the next day for more of their lore.

  • Mouth: Perfect white teeth or Bleeding Gums
  • Hands: Dirty and broken nails, rash on skin
  • Eyes: Red and irritated, rapid pupil movement
  • Armpits: No hair, rash on skin, fungal disease
  • Photo: A blurry aura

All Confirmed Visitors in No, I'm Not a Human

These are the guests which you can either turn away right at the door, bring in for numbers if you already have the majority of humans inside, or give them a FEMA notice so that they'll get taken away once the FEMA agent comes knocking, and you don't have to worry about them taking an actual human. There aren't many, but from our multiple playthroughs, these have turned out to be Visitors every time.

All Potential Visitors in No, I'm Not a Human

This is the largest batch in the game, which makes sense, it's challenging. Here is a list of Guests I've checked and some signs that have led me to kill them, or let them live. Some signs can be the same for both Humans and Visitors (like perfect teeth), so I'll list out the first thing that you can check for as early as possible that is surely a sign that the person is a Visitor.

How to Get All Endings in No I'm Not a Human

There are 10 endings which you can unlock in No, I'm Not a Human at various times in your playthrough. Some are a little more complicated than others, which is why we're here to help you out.

Yes, I'm Alone Ending

Yes I'm alone ending in No I'm not a Human
Screenshot by Pro Game Guides

You can get the Yes, I'm Alone ending as soon as the third night rolls around. All you have to do is lie to the Pale Man that you are alone in the house (make sure to actually have guests inside), and he will call you out on your lie and kill you.

Yes, I'm a Murderer Ending

Yes I'm a murderer ending after shooting too many people
Screenshot by Pro Game Guides

By being paranoid and shooting too many people (especially those who turn out innocent) may end your run quicker than you would have liked. Being trigger happy will lead to the Prophet showing up and telling you he can't fix this anymore. You will be beaten and left outside to burn in the sun with no one to save you...unless?

Wrath of the Vigilante Ending

Wrath of the Vigilante ending

All you have to do is show the wrong part of your body to the Vigilante when he shows up the second time, and you'll end up in a shootout. Show him your Armpits or your Teeth (which both have signs that you could be a Visitor) to start the fight. Just make sure not to clean your Armpits before that, if your goal is to get this ending. You'll survive but go insane and on a massacre.

Welcome to FEMA Ending

How to join FEMA in No, I'm Not a Human
Screenshot by Pro Game Guides

To get the FEMA work invitation, make sure to give out FEMA notices to people, take out Visitors as well as chat to FEMA on the phone. You can get their phone number from the TV on Day 3. If you've completed the correct requirements, you will be recruited by them, even if you say you aren't interested. You won't ever be going back home.

Shroom or Doom Ending

How to get the Shroom or Doom ending in No I'm Not a Human
Screenshot by Pro Game Guides

This ending takes quite a few steps which you could miss, so be careful. Here is exactly what you should do:

  • On Day 4, make sure to let the Cat Lady inside, so that the cat will reveal the basement underneath the carpet.
  • On Day 6, Mushroom Man will show up to your door and give you a piece of paper.
  • On Day 7, read the paper from the bedside table for instructions. After you do, go down to the Basement and pick up the Mushroom, then go to the fridge and eat it.
  • On Day 8, eat the battle from the living room next to the cabinet.
  • On Day 9, click on the clock in your bedroom, then interact with the Mushroom Man during the night. If he says he'll come back, then you've succeeded so far.
  • Mushroom Man comes back on the night of Day 10. When he asks you to go to Mushroom Land with him, say yes, and you'll get the cutscene.

No I'm not Alone Ending

How to get the No I'm not Alone ending
Screenshot by Pro Game Guides

You just have to play the game all the way through the 14th Day and make sure you have at least one Visitor still left in your house. You can always keep either the Hunched Woman, Cat Lady, or Cold Man inside, as the two are always Visitors. This will ensure that when you board up those windows, you aren't really safe.

The End? Ending

The End? Ending in No I'm Not a Human
Screenshot by Pro Game Guides

The point of The End? is to only have Humans inside your house once you board everything up. Keep the Tall Man, Widow, Man with his Mouth Sewn Shut and others from our list of Confirmed Humans above to increase your chances of getting this ending. Keep in mind that FEMA will be taking people, so try to let in a few visitors as well, or be prepared to sacrifice some humans. You can get this ending even with one Human only in the house. This ending is a hopeful twist overall, but not so much for our Protagonist. Test it out to see what we mean!

May Death Cleanse Us of Our Sins Ending

How to get the Cultist Ending in No I'm Not a Human
Screenshot by Pro Game Guides

The Cult Leader will first show up on Day 8 and leave you his three Cultists to take care of. You'll have to limit the amount of people you let inside (due to risk of Visitors) but still have two extra people inside the house who you can give out FEMA Notices to. I'd shoot for two Humans and two Visitors inside the house.

The FEMA Notice is necessary because on Day 10, a FEMA Agent will come to pick up two people. They take all Cultists as one, so you won't be able to complete this ending if they do. The Cult Leader shows up to check in on them on Day 10, and if they're alive, he'll come back for you on Day 11 and offer you salvation. Accept to get the May Death Cleanse Us of Our Sins ending.

No, I'm Not a Human FAQ

How do I get Kombucha?

You'll have one Kombucha on a run, which I suggest you drink around Days 7 or 8 to save the game. However, you can obtain more either by calling ForRest (you get their number from the TV ad on Day 2), or by accepting bribes from guests. This isn't consistent, as they may give you different things on a run. The one consistent person who will give you Kombucha is the Naked Guy. Let him inside the house, and when he asks for a beer, give it to him. He will try to give you money for it, but refuse, and you'll get another jar of Kombucha instead.

How does a FEMA notice work?

The first FEMA notice you'll get is from the FEMA agent. If you give it to a guest inside your house, that person will be taken away by the FEMA agent on his next visit. You'll get another FEMA Notice from the Firefighter, and you can also try to get more from various guests in the form of bribes (though they don't always give the same bribe). If you're trying to get the Cultist ending, I suggest you save your FEMA Notices until Day 10, and give it to two people to ensure the Cultists aren't taken that night.

How do I avoid the Dream Sequence?

It is not entirely certain how to avoid the Dream Sequence in No, I'm Not a Human. I've had runs when I didn't get it, and runs when I did. So far, from what we can assume, the Dream Sequence might be triggered by either too many Visitors in the house, or the Visitors staying inside the house for too long. We will keep testing to give you accurate data as soon as possible.

We can also help you get all No, I'm Not a Human Achievements. For other similar games, check out our guide on all endings in Papers, Please here on PGG.
