A Disquieting Shop is an Octopath Traveler 2 side story you can find in the Items Shop down in Stormhail. It triggers when you speak with the local Shopkeeper’s daughter, alerting the party that something is amiss within the vicinity. Here’s how to ease her worries.

Octopath Traveler 2  - What’s the problem in Stormhail’s Items Shop?

If you glean information from the Shopkeeper’s daughter, you’ll find that her father is a widow. So, that lady beside the cashier claimed that her “husband” is handling the transactions is what’s causing the weird atmosphere. The easiest way to resolve this is to boost Throne’s level to 40 so you can Ambush her, but you can also try your luck with Hikari’s Challenge or Ochette’s Provoke. She’s very annoying to fight though.

The Clingy Woman is one of few NPCs with the Thousand Blade skill. Her strategy is to hit you with a debuff before dagger-ing you to submission. Ambush or Soothe (needs Herb of Serenity) is the fastest way to resolve this, trust us.
