There's no way I'm going on foot.

Best Palworld ride mounts

Pals have quite a lot of fun uses, like Lifmunk becoming a submachine gun or Pengullet becoming a rocket for a rocket launcher. However, the most important are Pals you can ride on. Let's check out the best Palworld ride mounts to help you reach those distant fast travel points.

Eikthyrdeer

Eikthyrdeer is a Pal available pretty early in the game in the starting area and one of the best ground pals. You can find them around Grassy Behemoth Hills at 173,-473. But you can found them in a lot of other areas too.

It's very fast, which is only improved by its Antler Uppercut. It's also got a very useful double jump. Trample all over other Pals and Humans as you race across the map with Eikthyrdeer. You get a saddle for Eikthyrdeer at level 12 of Technology.

Nitewing

Nitewing is one of the best flying mounts in the game, but it's also one of the best choices because of where you can find it. Nitewing can usually be seen flying around in the area of Grassy Behemot Hills at 173,-473. You can head there and kill two birds (or a bird and a deer) with one stone by catching both Eikthyrdeer and Nitewing. You unlock its saddle at Technology level 15.

Direhowl

Direhowl is another fast ground mount to get in Palworld. Unlike Eikthydeer, you need to travel further to get this Pal, as its natural habitat isn't anywhere close to the starting point. You'll need to cross the bridge at 39,-499 and head to the left. You will be able to find it in the surrounding forest. It will take you a while to get it, but its speed definitely makes up for the wait. You unlock a saddle for Direhowl at level 9 of Technology.

Chillet

Chillet can't be found anywhere near the starting area, but it can be obtained in a Boss battle near the ruins at 172,-418. So not only will you get a mount, but you'll also get Ancient Technology points when you defeat it. While slower, it does have a good combination of ice and dragon elements. You unlock a Chillet Saddle at Technology Level 13.

Vanwyrm

One of the best flying mounts, Vanwyrm, will help you get quickly across the map. However, this bird is quite a ways away from the start. You can find them around the Sealed Relm of the Swordmaster Fast Point at -110,-466.

Another great use of a flying mount is that you can do aerial attacks on unsuspecting Pals and Humans, which is exceptionally fun to do with Vanwyrm's fire attacks. You can also watch Syndicate Soldiers fight a Pal from way up in the air and then snatch it just before death. You unlock its saddle at Technology level 21.

Surfent

Surfent is a Pal with the Swift Swimmer skill. If you've drowned trying to get around the islands in Palworld, you know this is something you'll need when exploring. You can travel across the water without a stamina reduction and get to new areas quicker than you would with a ground mount.

This Pal can also be found in the area of the Sealed Relm of the Swordmaster Fast Point at -110,-466. Just check the water and you will find it. You unlock its Saddle at Technology level 10.
