How to catch Lovander in Palworld

Lovander is one of the most interesting and, uh, unique Pals you can capture in Palworld. If you do want to read its rather questionable Paldeck description, here's how you can get yourself one.

Where to catch Lovander in Palworld (Map)

So, Lovander. How do you find one? I found the one I'm using within a dungeon in the Mount Obsidian zone on the map.

Here, you're looking for your standard dungeon to enter, but be mindful and geared up before you go. Most dungeons in this region have a level 40 boss at the end and 30+ enemies inside. This volcanic region is chock full of deadly lava and dangerous caves to navigate. However, if you can manage to survive all the madness, Lovander will grace you with its presence within those caverns.

You can also find Lovander on the coast of the Desert Biome, North of the Cinnamoth Forest waypoint.

Once you do catch a Lovander and check its Habitat, you'll notice that it doesn't have a presence on the world map. So, if you're trying to catch more than one, you'll need to be farming the Mount Obsidian dungeons or head to the desert biome and hope that a few spawn.

What is a Lovander in Palworld?

Lovander is a Neutral type Pal with fairly decent base stats. Its most important feature is its Partner Skill: Heart Drain. This grants you and your Lovander Life Stealing based on the damage dealt to an enemy while it is active on the field. This is very impactful in more difficult parts of the game where you're dealing significant damage with powerful weapons and/or Pal skills. It is a great sustain skill to make use of it.

With Lovander being Neutral typing, it has no natural weakness and can make great use of Neutral STAB skills (skills that match the typing of the Pal using it). STABs deal quite a bit more damage, so I recommend having at least one consistent Neutral skill on your Lovander at all times.
