Jormuntide Ignis is a powerful Pal due to its high-level stats and strong attacks, but before I learned where to look, finding one was impossible. Here's how to get Jormuntide Ignis in Palworld!

Where to find Jormuntide Ignis in Palworld

If you want to get your very own Jormuntide Ignis, you have three options: capture it, find a huge dragon egg, or breed two Jormuntide Ignis Pals. The easiest way is to get lucky and stumble upon an egg containing a baby Jormuntide Ignis, but egg spawns are random, and it might take you a while. The most reliable method is to go out and capture a Jormuntide Ignis or two for breeding purposes.

To get your hands on a Jormuntide Ignis, craft an Ultra or Legendary Pal Sphere, add Ice and Water Pals like Surfent, Penking or Cryolinx into your party, and head for the No. 2 Wildlife Sanctuary (-682, -113). It's best to wait until nightfall to avoid being spotted by Guards and Thugs since that's when they're likely to be fast asleep.

Once you spot a Jormuntide Ignis, draw it out by a few light attacks to make him separate from other Pals. Summon your Water and Ice Pals and use ranged attacks while it's focused on fighting your Pals. After its health bar drops to about a tenth, use your Pal Sphere to capture it and escape the Sanctuary before the guards spot you.

How to breed Jormuntide Ignis in Palworld

The only way to breed Jormuntide Ignis is to pair it with another Jormuntide Ignis of the opposite gender. This means you'll need to repeat the capturing process twice or get lucky with getting one from a Dragon Egg. Once you've bred two Jormuntide Ignis Pals, craft an Egg Incubator and place it close to a fire source. Place the egg into the incubator and wait until it's ready to hatch.

Jormuntide Ignis is a versatile Pal capable of both combat and work, but its mount abilities make it exceptional in battle. It boosts all Fire attacks when mounted, and its Active Skills can grow to become incredibly powerful over time, while its Level 4 Kindling ability helps you melt ores and craft powerful items.
